How long will it take for my custom designed lounge to be made?
Our lounges are made in Sydney, not imported. This means, once you have placed your order, your lounge will be ready for your sitting requirements in only 3-4 weeks

How big is the lounge going to be?
The size, like everything else with our lounges, is customizable. As a guide, the depth is normally 800mm, the height around 750mm and the length we allow 600mm per person and 200-400mm for the arms.

I know I need a lounge, but I have no idea about the design. Where do I start?
We are here to help you out. You can send us a picture of the space and we can recommend a design for you or scroll down for our “5-steps to lounge design inspiration” to give you an overview of what can be done.

What is a fixed-back compared to a cushion back?
A fixed back lounge has no cushion, but instead the back, the seat or both the back and seat are upholstered into the structure of the lounge. This means your lounge will look neat and tidy all day and all night long. If you love the cushion look, you have the option to have the back cushioned and the seat fixed, the seat cushioned and the back fixed, or go crazy and get everything with cushions, it’s 100% up to you.

Are they suitable for aged care and heavy duty commercial environments?
They can be :) we have a selection of heavy duty fabrics that have a moisture guard and are easy to keep clean. Email sales@designchoice.net.au about your requirements and we can explore the best solution for you.
